I asked Jenny Oberholtzer (Macy) and Erica Smith (Chestnut) to tell me a little more about their characters and the way that they saw them.
Of Chestnut, Erica said, “Chestnut is a street-smart, abrasive thief with a short fuse and a tendency to make very bad decisions. She has a severe case of nobody-picks-on-my-little-brother-but-me syndrome.”
And Jenny, who, like Macy, doesn’t mince words, simply said, “Macy knows things. And breaks things. All the things.”
